Art swap - baker

I owed a friend a piece from an art swap a very, very long time ago. She bakes cakes so I thought I'd do some sort of cute illustration with that. I don't think she likes cats... but oh well. Not sure why the scanner picked up the oranges all grainier and weird-like.

Pencil and watercolor. 6"x8". (Done during class, hur-hur. I'm a horrible student)

Children's book illustration and doodles

Been trying to stay motivated and busy in children's book illustration class. Sketched out one page but didn't like how the figure turned out. I water colored it just for fun, but it was on bristol board so the paint didn't take very well. Any how, here's the image....

Also been pretty bored with my classes so I've been doodling. Here is today's wonderful visualization of my educational apathy.

Wacom and photoshop

Trying to figure out how to use my Wacom Bamboo "Fun" in Photoshop. Haven't used a tablet in a very long time. Would love to use OpenCanvas, but unfortunately, they don't make a Mac version.


Needs a lot of work, no?
